Notice under the Payment Services Act (Japan) (voluntary disclosure)

This is a voluntary notice about the app's paid currency "Mimic Cash", following the disclosure items of Japan's Payment Services Act (it is not made under a legal obligation). In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

  • The quantity of Mimic Cash granted per purchase and its payable amount (in yen, tax included) are shown on each product's purchase screen.
  • If your Mimic Cash balance (paid and free combined) is 1,000,000 or more, you cannot start a new purchase. Once your balance falls below 1,000,000 through use, you can start a purchase again.
How it is obtainedMimic Cash can be obtained only by purchase (including any bonus amount granted together with a purchase).
Validity periodMimic Cash purchased for a fee has no expiration date (Terms of Service, Article 40, paragraph 3). However, it can no longer be used once the service ends (see "Refunds" below).
Where it can be usedOnly for purchasing items and services offered in this app.
Paid and free Mimic Cash
  • Mimic Cash eligible for refunds (refundable Cash) is the unused part of the base quantity granted by purchasing a charge product.
  • Additional amounts such as first-purchase bonuses, and quantities granted as part of Term-Based Products or packages, are treated as Free Cash and are not refundable.
  • "Free Cash" in this notice is a category used only to define the scope of voluntary refunds under the Terms of Service. Regardless of this category, anything that must be refunded under applicable laws and regulations will be handled in accordance with those laws and regulations.
  • When Mimic Cash is used, Free Cash is deemed to be used first (Terms of Service, Article 35, paragraph 6).
Notes
  • Mimic Cash belongs to your account and cannot be transferred to another account.
  • Free Cash is not refundable (Terms of Service, Article 35, paragraph 4).
  • Minors should obtain a parent's or guardian's consent before purchasing.

Refunds
  • Refunds of refundable Cash follow Article 35 (Refund of Cash) of the Terms of Service. If the service ends, refundable Cash will be refunded in accordance with applicable law and Article 30 of the Terms of Service.
  • When a refund is made, a fee may be deducted within the scope set out in Article 35, paragraph 2 of the Terms of Service (capped at 10% of the balance or KRW 10,000, whichever is less). However, for users residing in Japan, no amount exceeding the average damage that would be incurred by the Company is deducted, in accordance with Article 9 of the Consumer Contract Act (Terms of Service, Article 53, paragraph 4).
  • Refunds for purchases made on the App Store are handled through Apple's refund procedure (reportaproblem.apple.com) (Terms of Service, Article 45, paragraph 6).
  • If you delete your account (withdraw), your balance is deleted and can no longer be checked. If you have refundable Cash remaining, please request a refund before deleting your account (Terms of Service, Article 26, paragraph 4).
